The race routes are identical, starting and ending at the barge near the mouth of the Small Boat Harbor and following the K300 trail. Teams are limited to eight dogs and purses total $12,300. The races begin at 11 a.m.

Eight mushers and their teams will dash out of the chute today for the Bogus Creek 150. The teams will travel about a half-mile before taking a sharp turn and swerving off the river to start a 50-mile overland trail to the Tuluksak checkpoint where the trail will reconnect with the Kuskokwim River.
