The Kuksokwim 300 mushers are in the final stretch of the Kuskokwim 300 sled dog race. Facing various injuries, and on icy trails, mushers have passed the Tuluksak checkpoint and are racing toward the finish line in Bethel.

KYUK’s Anna Rose MacArthur interviewed the mushers before they took off for the final 50-mile stretch.
