The Bethel City Council will discuss a resolution proposing the protest of AC Quickstore’s liquor license application, at its regular meeting Tuesday night.

The council will continue to discuss an ordinance that would amend the Bethel city municipal code. The plan is a part of an ongoing effort to help fix the city’s unfinished streets.

The council will also hear four new ordinances, which focus on a variety of issues in Bethel, like the acquisition and disposal of city land, taxicab licenses, the operation of low speed vehicles and a resolution proposing baggage checks on small flights to Bethel.

In addition, the council will approve three new appointments to the Parks, Recreation, Aquatic Health and Safety Center committee and one appointment to the Public Safety and Transportation Committee.

The council will also seek to approve the purchase of City Sand Shed Insulation from T&H Leveling, Inc.

The Council will meet in its regular meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. The public is invited to attend. The meeting will be aired live on 640 AM and streamed at kyuk.org.
