Alaska State Troopers arrested 38-year-old Akiachak resident Harry Nose last week on multiple felony assault charges.

Troopers say on Thursday Tribal Police Officers in Akiachak requested their assistance regarding an assault. Police say Nose assaulted his female guardian at their residence where he was released under a court order after serving out a prior conviction.

Nose allegedly punched, kicked and struck her with blunt objects, causing multiple bruises and broken bones.

Troopers arrested Nose and charged him with two counts of assault in the first degree, three counts of assault in the second degree and one count of assault in the third degree.

Nose was remanded at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel.
